Set in a central trading position in the city of Bath and adjacent to the Famous Pump Rooms and Roman Baths, Juice Moose, juice, smoothie bar and cafe, has recently been sold and is now trading as Jacobs Coffee House. Previously owned by Elaine Edwards, who is now concentrating on other business interests, it has been bought by Jake Harris through licensed and leisure property specialists Stonesmith of Exeter.

Jake is a competent operator with many years experience in the world of catering. He had been looking far and wide for a catering business with potential and in a prime trading location and this business ticked all of the boxes.

A well regarded juice and smoothie bar and cafe offering a range of freshly prepared juices, fruit smoothies and beverages, it also had an excellent reputation for quality home made hot and cold food. At present Jake is developing the range of beverages and looking to source a range of finest tea’s and coffee’s and in time will also be enhancing the food menu, whilst providing a top quality service, synonymous with the many independent retailers in the City.

The cafe is situated in one of the best trading positions in Bath adjacent to the main tourist attractions. Bath offers a unique experience with stunning architecture, great shopping and iconic attractions.

The property is positioned in an historic Georgian building and trades over three floors. The trade accommodation provides, at lower ground floor the main kitchen, with storage areas and customer welfare facilities, at ground floor has the main food and beverage servery and seating for approx 6 and at first floor a dining area made up of two adjoining rooms with feature fireplaces and a range of seating for 30 plus a sofa room with 10 covers and an office/store room. Outside to the front there is an alfresco trade terrace with seating for a further 16.

The business attracted a great deal of interest and a sale was agreed within six weeks of coming on to the market after offers were invited for the leasehold interest.
