A former town centre wet led pub, The Ship Inn at Kingsbridge has recently been sold by Stonesmith, and joint agents Alder King, off an asking price of £415,000.

Acting for the administrators, Nigel Morison and Alistair Wardell of Grant Thornton UK LLP, the property was sold to Yelverton Properties Ltd, who have let the ground floor to Costa Coffee, and are developing the upper floors into residential accommodation.

The property is a substantial end of terrace building arranged over 3 floors with modern 2 storey rear extension. The ground floor open plan bar was arranged in 3 areas providing covers for 70 plus with customer welfare facilities, cellars etc. At first floor, there was a 40 cover restaurant/function room, and catering kitchen.
